Cricket again - Loosing to Aus again

So we have lost a few 50-50 matches against Aus. So what? Big deal. Its just a sport - we need to have a balanced view here. I mean, I really won't totally blame the players though. I think its the BCCI or whoever has control over team selection. Look at Dravid - I don't think he wants to play cricket anymore. And Ganguly, Tendulkar - they should gracefully resign. NOW!

I think that Sharad Pawar and other politicians in BCCI should pay more attention to law and order in Bombay/Maharashtra rather than spending all their time in cricket. They should also focus their energy on nabbing the D company members and the terrorists. They are a disgrace!

I hope that Kapil's ICL comes into action soon. And we have a breed of players that can function like robots from another planet (like Aussies) he he, who are productive no matter what. Seriously, they should think and develop long-term strategy and not just for 1-2 matches, even if that means that in short term we only lose matches.

I think Kapil is getting too ambitious. Looks like his business is not doing well and therefore he wants to get some money through Cricket. He was very poor player in last few years of his cricket career (even worst then what Dravid or Ganguli are playing now). But he was playing to break Hadley’s record. Again, India did very badly when he was a coach. Then what Manoj Prabhakar said about him regarding match-fixing etc. and the way he reacted (like kid). Old saying “there is no smoke without fire”. Anyway also he is too loud and vocal which is not good for a coach/manager. Remember Greg Chappel was like that and he failed miserably. A coach has to develop his thoughts and implement rather than discussing them in media and bragging about him. Kapil never impressed me lately and I am sure till he is there, ICL will go nowhere. He got associated with ICL because he was not made Indian team coach. Remember, his interviews/discussions in Aaj Tak around world cup-2007. I think Indian cricket team needs a sincerely coach not a star, be it from India or Abroad. You are right Shard Pawar should spend more time in politics and possible mid-term elections then cricket. I agree it is time for Dravid, Shewag, Ganguli and Tendulker to say goodbye to cricket. Now a day there are plenty of jobs for retired cricketers. They should learn something from Ravi Shastri, Srinath, Ramiz Raza etc. They all are good money and get due respect.
